William “Bill” Dober, 52, of Coconut Creek, Fla.

On Friday, Nov. 2, 2018, William J. “Bill” Dober of Coconut Creek, Fla., and formerly of Bristol, Rhode Island, passed away peacefully with his family by his side. He was 52 years old.

Born in Providence, R.I., he is the beloved son of Margaret Vera Dober and the late Eric W. Dober. He is also the loving brother of Margaret Pereira, Diane Paiva (Jesse), Lynn Mosher and Eric Dober, Jr. He leaves behind many nieces and nephews, Christopher Nappi, Koren Nappi, Steven Pereira, Kate Paiva, Eric Paiva, Chelsea Vieira, Ricky Dober, Carlee Dober, and Jake Dober.

He graduated from Bristol High School, and received bachelor degrees from the University of Rhode Island and Rhode Island College. He was formally employed at the Broward Hospital District in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., as a computer programmer.

Bill was an avid Dallas Cowboys and New York Yankees fan.

Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2018, from Smith Funeral and Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren, R.I. Visiting hours will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with a Celebration of Life immediately following. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Bristol.
