Thomas Andrews Jr, 58, of Warren, died Saturday July 15, 2017 at home. He was born in Fall River a son of Thomas Andrews Sr. of Warren and Louise Fluet of Jacksonville, Fla.

Thomas was a Warren resident for most of his life. He loved his musical instruments and listening to Beatles music. Tom was a good, kind-hearted person.

Besides his parents, he is survived by his brother, Erik Fluet of Jacksonville, Fla.; and his sisters, Judith Lopes of Bristol, and Sandra Andrews Paiva of Swansea. He was the Uncle of Keith, Denton, Nicholas, Skyler, Colin, Aidan, Logan, Payton and Samantha. Mr. Andrews is also survived by his cousin, Naomi.
Funeral services are private. Gifts in his memory may be sent to Riverwood, P.O. Box 226, 25 Railroad Ave., Warren, RI 02885.

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
