Parade route

The parade begins at 10:30 a.m. at Hope and Chestnut streets. It heads south on Hope Street to High Street, where it takes a sharp left turn and continues to the Town Common.

Parking

A parking ban along the parade route — Hope and High streets — goes into effect the night before the parade. Otherwise, parking is basically anywhere you can find it. Large lots are open to the public at the corner of Hope and Gooding, and handicap parking will be available across from the Town Hall on Court Street. Avoid Mt. Hope High School and Colt State Park, as the parade forms there and participants will be parking there. If you are parking on residential streets, be sure to avoid blocking driveways. Police will ticket.
Street closings

Hope and High streets, as well as various surrounding streets will be closed off beginning at 7 a.m., including Poppasquash Road, Chestnut Street, Naomi Street and Sherry Avenue.
