Photos: Mt. Hope Gymnasts beat Barrington, remain undefeated

Mt. Hope's outstanding sophomore Meghan Oliver won all four events and the all around to lead the Huskies over Barrington 130.3 to 115.3 on Saturday at Prestige Fitness and Gymnastics in Swansea. The Huskies are now 4-0 and at the top of Division II. Oliver scored a 9.0 in vault, an 8.35 on bars, an 8.9 on beam and a 9.15 on floor for an all around score of 35.4.

Jayme Foreman placed second on vault with a score of 8.7 and third on bars with a score of 7.95.

Kaitlin Quinn placed third on beam with a score of 8.1 and third on floor with a score of 8.7.

Freshman Molly Thibaudeau placed third on vault with a score of 8.5 and scored an 8.1 on floor.

Kaira Lawrence scored an 8.0 on vault, 6.35 on bars, 7.5 on beam, 7.15 on floor.

Brianna Gendreau scored an 8.05 on Vault, 5.75 on bars, 5.5 on Beam and 7.2 on floor.

Ashley Heald scored a 7.85 on vault, 6.9 on bars, 7.0 on beam, and a 7.7 on floor.

Emilie Donato scored a 5.85 on bars and Grace Silva scored a 6.6 on floor.

The Huskies also beat West Warwick on Sunday, 131.4 to 123.3. Oliver again shined, placing first in all around with a season high score of 36.4. She scored a 9.05 on bars, 8.65 on bars, 9.45 on beam and a 9.3 on floor.

Next up:

The Huskies host a meet at Strive Gymnastics in Somerset on Wednesday, 1/25, at 7 p.m. and on Sunday, 1/29, at 5 p.m. also at Strive.
