Peter George Florenzano, 73, of Bristol

Peter George Florenzano, 73, of Mason Avenue, Bristol, passed away on Feb. 12, 2019, at Silver Creek Manor.

Born in Bristol, he was the son of the late Andrea and Antonia (Albino) Florenzano. He was the brother of Anthony Florenzano of Bristol, John Florenzano of Coventry and the late Lucia Florenzano, Alphonse Florenzano and Mary Florenzano Bourassa.

Mr. Florenzano served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was employed as a marshall at the Newport Naval Base.

His funeral was held Feb. 16 from the George Lima Funeral Home, with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Elizabeth’s Church. Burial followed in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
