Patricia L. Accinno, 67, formerly of Bristol

Patricia L. (Barboza) Accinno, 67, of Coventry, formerly of Bristol, passed away on Aug. 4, 2018, at home after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer. She was the wife of Ralph Accinno.

She was the daughter of the late Manuel and Louise Barboza of Bristol.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Kristen and Julie Rogers; grandson, Eli Rogers; step-children, Julie Ellen Fishbach (Steven), Aimee Accinno, and Nancy Accinno McGill (Brendon); and step-grandchildren, Jaclyn and Alec Fishbach, and Nathan and Mason McGill.

She is also survived by her sister, Barbara Contente (Illidio), and nephews, Leo, Paul, Alfred and Steven Contente, all of Bristol.

Mrs. Accinno was a graduate of Bristol High School and Rhode Island College. She was an investment specialist for Merrill Lynch for 23 years. She was a genuine, loving, caring person who loved animals.

A prayer service was held at George Lima Funeral Home on Aug. 8, 2018, led by Pastor Douglas Crandall. Burial followed at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Bristol.
