Letter: Thank you all for generous support and love

Posted

To all of our family and friends (old and new) who attended the Bristol Train of Artillery to support our family on Friday, July 27, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We don’t know how to appropriately express our gratitude for all you have done for us.

There are no words. I just hope you know us enough to know that we love you all and will never forgot your generosity to us. All we can offer you now is our thanks and prayers — lots of them! God has put you in our lives, and we thank Him every day for all of you.

I especially want to thank Cortney Lancaster and Nate Webster, who were truly our “first-responders” and lifelines for us. So many people worked so hard with Cortney and Nate to make this such an aazing night.

We want to extend special thanks to Amy Lebreuz, Marie and Gilly Amaral, Pat Lannan and Trish and JP Cloutier and all the people who sold tickets, came to set up, worked so hard that night, cooked, donated raffle prizes, and came to support us and uplift our spirits.

Thank you also  to the awesome businesses in town that donated so generously to this event on our behalf.

It was all so humbling and overwhelming for us. KC and I are both blessed with big families that are always there for us, and we love them so much and are so grateful and thankful for them (they’re the best), and we are also blessed to have many extended families, and we love all of them too!

Many thanks to Fatehr Zinno and our Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church family, our Troop 6 family, our Roger Williams University family, our Town of Bristol family, and especially our BTA family.

All night, Cortney kept saying to me, “these BTA guys are awesome.” We know, they really are.

I wish I could mention all of our friends and family by name here, and if they let me, I would. You’ll never know what it meant to us to see you all there. Again, thank you for the great generosity and concern you showed for us and especially for my son, Shawn. He is truly grateful for your love and support.
