Barrington senior running back Nick Roach rushed for three touchdowns in leading the Eagles over Mt. Hope 31-12 in their annual Thanksgiving game at Vendituoli Field on Wednesday night.

The Eagles have a 17-9 series lead over the Huskies.

The game was played on Wednesday instead of Thursday due to extreme weather. A snow squall came down as the teams battled on the muddy field in first quarter.

Mt. Hope senior running back Dylan Martins caught a 20-yard touchdown catch from senior quarterback Ajay Bernardo late in the first half to make the score 17-6. Bernardo an H-back, replaced Jordan Pompey who was injured midway through the first half.

Bernardo later scored as time ran out to make the score 31-12.
