Bristol Police: Arrests for fake IDs, underage drinking and pot

The Bristol Police had an active week with young adults from Jan. 22 to 28. They made numerous arresdts for underage drinking, possession of marijuana and the use of fake IDs. Following is a log of Bristol Police activity for that week.

Monday, Jan. 22

An officer was called to Berry Lane at 5:28 p.m. to keep the peace while a tenant was moving out of a residence.

Tuesday, Jan. 23

An officer took a report of a past argument between roommates at 11:28 a.m. on Perry Street.

A resident on Edmund Lane reported fraud.

Wednesday, Jan. 24

Officers responded to the rear parking lot of St. Elizabeth’s Church at 12:54 a.m. to intervene in two people who were yelling at each other.

A resident on Thompson Avenue reported a loud stereo from a vehicle at 1:30 p.m.

Jacob B. Zelikman, 19, of 11 Hickory Lane, North Reading, Mass., was charged with possession of marijuana after officers responded to Roger Williams University.

Thursday, Jan. 25

Residents filed three separate complaints about a National Grid scam between 10:30 and 11:15 a.m.

Mock Mercedes, 22, of 15 Prospect St., Apt. 1, Bristol, was charged with reckless driving and possession of marijuana.

Officers dispersed a vehicle and its occupants from the area of the Mt. Hope Boat Ramp off Annawamscutt Drive at 9:21 p.m.

Friday, Jan. 26

An officer was called to High Street at 1:15 a.m. for a noisy residence. The residents said they would keep it quiet for the night.

An officer euthanized an injured raccoon at 8:27 a.m. near the intersection of Cooke and Union streets. In the days leading up to this incident, multiple residents reported a raccoon with an injured leg in the area of High and Constitution streets.

A Magnolia Street resident reported that someone had dumped trash on their front lawn.

Michael J. Tabb, 19, of Longmeadow, Mass.., was charged with unlawful drinking-misuse of an ID card, after an officer investigated the ID at 1776 Liquors at 1:18 p.m.

Two were charged with underage possession of alcohol after being arrested at Mt. Hope Liquors on Hope Street at 5:41 p.m. Charged were Justin J. Marraccino, 18, of Nyack, N.Y., and Joseph James Gaudio, 19, of Branford, Conn.

A vehicle was dispersed from Narrows Point at 7:45 p.m.

Three people were dispersed from the area of Metacom Avenue and Fatima Drive at 9:55 p.m.

A Sousa Street resident complained of loud music at 10 p.m.

Saturday, Jan. 27

A man was dispersed from the municipal parking lot on State Street at 1:07 a.m.

An officer investigated a suspicious vehicle at Narrows Point at 2:04 a.m.

Sunday, Jan. 28

Officers arrested three for underage possession and consumption of alcohol on High Street at 12:45 a.m. Charged were Kyle Wrynn, 19, of East Meadow, N.Y., Nicholas J. Sasso, 20, of Watertown, Conn., and Colin J. Herschlag of North Easton, Mass.

Officers dispersed a vehicle from the area of Broadcommon Road and Ballou Blvd. at 12:56 a.m.
