Bristol native opens new restaurant in the heart of Providence

Posted

A Bristol native brought buzz to the capital city Thursday night with the opening of his new restaurant, Sarto, a Rhode Island-inspired Osteria & Salumeria that held a ribbon-cutting and grand opening celebration at 86 Dorrance St. in Providence. Robert Andreozzi, the son of Cheryl and David Andreozzi, is the visionary for the restaurant, described as a creative and modern take on rustic Italian fare.

As an Ocean State native and Johnson and Wales University graduate, the chef blends a Rhode Island influence with Italian dishes. The restaurant is located at the Providence G and is open for breakfast and lunch weekdays, and for dinner Tuesday to Saturday.
