Alvaro Rebelo Teixeira, 68, of Bristol
Alvaro Rebelo Teixeira, 68, passed away on Aug. 8, 2018,m at Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center. He was the husband of Belinda (Wieselquist) Teixeira
Born in Santo Amarao, Sao Jorge, Azores, he was the son of the late Armando and Maria Josefa (Rebelo) Teixeira. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Paul Teixeira and his wife Diane, Mario Teixeira and his wife Kelly, and Steven Teixeira, and grandchildren Michaela Teixeira, Amora Teixeira and Evelynn Teixeira. He was the brother of Armando Teixeira, George Teixeira, Agostino Teixeira, and Noemia Silveira, and also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Teixeira was educated in Portugal and employed by Stylecraft and Balfour before retiring.
His funeral services were held Aug. 11 from the George C. Lima Funeral Home, with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated by Rev. Marinaldo A. Batista at St. Elizabeth’s Church. Liturgical readings were by Manuel Silveira and Alexandra Silveira, who also read The Prayer of the Faithful. The offertory gifts were presented by Michaela Teixeira and Andrea Silveira. Burial followed in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
