Cargo nets, mud pits and hurdles greeted hundreds of men, women and children at this year's Tough Tiger adventure race.
The event, which serves as a key fund-raiser for Hampden Meadows School, drew competitors of all ages. Some raced for fast times or bragging rights, while others seemed to relish the chance to splash in the mud pit near the race finish line.
The winner, Barrington's Will Sanchez, finished the course in just over 15 minutes.
