Letter: Full-time school resource officer is not enough

A full time resource officer is great, but not enough. I also expect severely mentally ill persons be removed from normal society. It is what is right for them, and their community. Mental institutions need to be reopened. Then you may discuss the long process of gun control. Anything less will mean any incidents in “gun free zones “ will be on the hands of those who represent us. General assembly bills like S 2493 are putting the cart before the horse.
