Harold E. Wallman, 98, of Barrington, passed away Monday, Jan. 14, 2019 at the Grace Barker Health. He was the loving husband of Harriet M. (Joyce) Wallman for 71 years. Born in Brookline, Mass., he was the son of the late Carl Axel & Honera ( Burke) Wallman.
Besides his wife, he leaves four daughters, Joyce Benton of Austin, Texas, Janet Wallman and her husband Alan Chuman of Pawtucket, Jill Anderson and her husband Paul of Yarmouth Port, Mass., and Julie McRoberts and her companion James Borges of Bristol.
He also leaves a son, Jon H. Wallman and his wife Suzanne of Rumford, ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Harold was the father of the late Jacqueline Wallman and the brother of the late Edith Soul and Evelyn Wallman.
Harold served in the Navy and was a veteran of World War II. He worked in sales as a representative for Gulf Oil where he later retired from. He enjoyed woodworking, spending time outdoors gardening and caring for his lawn. He also enjoyed baseball and was a fan of the Red Sox. His funeral service will be private.
