Gould: Knight is a status quo candidate

Posted

Most people would agree that the political leadership in Rhode Island has failed us. Judging by his alignment with Speaker Mattiello on 98.6 percent of House votes, Jason Knight appears to disagree.

Two years ago, Mr. Knight ran on challenging leadership and advocating for our district. It is now clear that he meant 1.4 percent of the time.

If you feel that our state is well run, that you don’t pay enough in taxes, and that the role of government is to control and dictate how we live our lives, then Jason Knight is your status quo candidate.

If you want a representative that has a proven history of advocating for children in our schools, for families, taxpayers and small businesses, someone that will continue to fight against those who seek to control our lives and waste our money, then I’m your guy.

Daryl Gould

Warren

Mr. Gould is a Libertarian running for RI House, District 67.
