Mrs. Esther M. (Migliori) Nutini-Demara, age 86 of Viking Drive, Bristol, died peacefully in her sleep on Easter Sunday morning at her home. She was the wife of Bernard A. Demara, her husband of 31 years and the wife of the late Albert Nutini, who preceded her in death in 1974.

Mrs. Esther M. (Migliori) Nutini-Demara, age 86 of Viking Drive, Bristol, died peacefully in her sleep on Easter Sunday morning at her home. She was the wife of Bernard A. Demara, her husband of 31 years and the wife of the late Albert Nutini, who preceded her in death in 1974. Born in Bristol and a lifelong resident, she was a daughter of the late Rocco and Elvira (Mazzucco) Migliori.

Esther was a graduate of Colt Memorial High School, Bristol, Class of 1947 and received her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Accounting and Finance, from Bryant College in 1949. She worked as first an administrative assistant, later the Publication Administrator and finally the Librarian for the Combat Systems Library at Raytheon Corporation in Portsmouth for over 20 years, retiring a number of years ago. She previously worked for the Bristol School Department and the United Fund in Providence. Esther was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Bristol and enjoyed golfing and traveling with her husband, Bernard and for a number of years played softball, pitching for the Bristol Women’s Softball league and a former member of the Hopeworth Bowling League.

In addition to her husband, she leaves three children; Robert Nutini (Paula) of Bristol, Dona Nutini (Cornele Overstreet) of Scottsdale, AZ and Mark Nutini (Jamie Ioos) of Phoenix, AZ, three grandchildren, John Arnold of Providence, Gerald Nutini of Chesapeake, VA and Michael Nutini of Warren and five great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. In addition to her first husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Migliori and three sisters, Lucy Smigielski, Elena Pellegrino and Gilda Foley. Funeral service from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 9 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol.
