The Barrington High School boys indoor track team rolled to three victories during a regular season meet on Wednesday, Jan. 9.

The Eagles celebrated lopsided wins over East Providence (86-23), Juanita Sanchez (93.5-15.5) and Wheeler (98-11). The wins propelled Barrington's record to 7-1.

Barrington's Brendan Fay won the 3,000-meter race, while Robbie Davis finished second in the event, and Steven Chen was third. Fay also won the 1,000-meter race, followed by Holden Vaughan in second place and Kaden Voeller in third.

Walter Joachim-Delpoio ran to a first place finish in the 55-meter hurts, while Cheng was second in the same event.

William Cauley finished first in two events — the shot put and the weight throw. Cauley had a top distance of 40-feet, 3-inches in the shot, and was followed by Matteo Lopergolo in second place. Lopergolo also finished second to Cauley in the weight throw, while Robbins was third.

Barrington's 4x200-meter relay team of Jay Scheiffelin, Jackson O'Connor, Joachim-Delpoio and Ben Geoghegan won its event, while Joachim-Delpoio teamed up with Calvin Hennessey, Jamie Gunness and Fay to win the 4x400-meter relay.
