Barrington advanced to the Division II Championship series with a winners bracket win over Rogers, 6-4, at Rhode Island College on Wednesday night. The Eagles clouted 9 hits and scored all six runs in the fourth inning.

During the fourth, Sydney Hoover and Kaylee Feather each hit RBI triples and Rachel Cross smashed a two run double.

Barrington pitcher Paige Concannon struck out 10 in a complete game win.

It wasn't all roses for the Eagles. Rogers pitcher Shannon Ward struck out the first six Eagles she faced.

The Vikings jumped out to an early 1-0 in the first when Julia D'Amore walked and scored on a dropped two out pop up. Rogers scored 3 more runs in the third before the Eagles scored their 6 runs in the fourth.
