Barrington has five graduate from fire academy

Five communities have firefighters complete training

Twelve firefighter trainees from five communities, including Barrington, graduated from the Rhode Island Municipal Fire Academy earlier this month, marking their completion of a nine-week training and certification program to become firefighters.

The graduation ceremony was held at the Rhode Island Fire Training Academy in Exeter.

The ceremony honored the 12 new firefighters from five districts, including five from Barrington: Joseph A. Cinquegrano, Nicholas M. Drew, John D. Greenhalgh, Keith E. Laurito and Brian C. Masse.
