The Barrington High School girls track team won the Eastern Division Championship on Monday. Barrington scored 168 points, while second place LaSalle had 120.
Annika Kelly, Faith Polando and Sydney Polando went 1-2-3 in the hammer throw. Kelly also won the discus, while Faith Polando finished fourth in that event. Olivia Middleton won the triple jump and finished third in the long jump. Adeline Quas was third in the high jump and Claire Grover was fourth in that event. Audrey Gravelle was second in the 300 hurdles and also ran a leg in the first place 4x400 meter relay team. Other members of that team are Tea Bishop, Julia Howarth and Kate Zitzmann. Howarth, Middleton, Abigail Walter and Jillian Walter combined to finish second in the 4x100 relay.
Zitzmann won the 1,500 race and Caroline Livingston was second. Zitzmann also won the 800 meter race. Livingston was third in the 3,000 and Lily Sefranek was fourth in that event. Howarth was second in the 400 meter race and third in the 200. Abigail Walter was third in the 100.
