The Parenting Support Group will meet on Sunday, July 21 at 6:00 PM in the Tildsley Building at St. Michael’s Church, 399 Hope Street. This is an opportunity for parents of preschool and school age children to meet with other parents and a mental health professional to discuss the problems and challenges which all parents face today. These could include defiant behavior, lack of self confidence, teaching kids to take responsibility, school anxiety and special needs. All parents are welcome, single and partnered, traditional and non-traditional, and parents in blended families. All discussion is confidential. There is no charge for the group but participants are invited to bring donations of personal hygiene items or non-perishable food for the Bristol Good Neighbors food pantry. Childcare is available but parents planning to bring children must call Jennifer DeWolf at (401)935-3359 by Friday July 19 to let her know how many children will be attending and their ages.
