Possible arson suspected in Tiverton fire

At 5 a.m., Friday, August 18, 2017, an on duty police officer discovered flames coming from a business located at 2423 Main Road in Tiverton. The fire was quickly extinguished, said Tiverton Fire Chief Robert Lloyd. There were no injuries, and the business is still in operation. The nature of the fire is suspicious, he said.
