Westport police logs: No arrests this week

Monday, May 6

A caller from Beeden Road reported larceny, forgery or fraud at 12:56 p.m.

A State Road resident complained of harassment at 4:47 p.m.

A 911 caller reported a disturbance on Spinnaker Way just before 7 p.m., but police were not able to locate the issue.

Animal complaints came in from Tickle Road at 10:28 p.m.

Tuesday, May 7

A 911 call regarding a structure fire on Sodom Road was relayed to the fire department at 7:41 a.m.

A 911 caller reported an unwanted person at an Old Bedford Road home at 9:28 a.m.

Animal complaints came in from John Reed Road at 9:37 a.m., and again at 12:27 p.m. A similar call came in from Sodom Road at 10:14 p.m.

Police tried but were unable to serve a restraining order on Raymond Street at 5:19 p.m. and 7:12 p.m.

A caller from Kelsey’s Way reported a neighbor dispute at 6:16 p.m.

Police pulled over two vehicles over the course of the day, warning two drivers.

Wednesday, May 8

A caller reported a suspicious vehicle on Main Road at 7:22 a.m.

Animal complaints came in from Lindera Drive just after 10 a.m., from State Road at 3:47 p.m. and from Main Road at 3:49 p.m.

A Hix Bridge Road resident complained of property damage at 11:10 a.m.

Police tried but were unable to serve a restraining order on Raymond Street at 12:53 p.m., and again at 6:27 p.m.

A caller reported a suspicious vehicle at Center and High streets at 6:46 p.m.

Police were informed of a vehicle repossession on Sherman Lane at 6:54 p.m.

Police pulled over eight vehicles and issued four citations over the course of the day.

Thursday, May 9

Police tried but were unable to serve a restraining order on Raymond Street at 10:06 a.m., and again at 4:56 p.m. They later called the address at 8:14 p.m. to inform of the order.

A caller reported suspicious activity on State Road at 10:17 a.m.

Police assisted after a caller from Hix Bridge Road reported a civil dispute at 11:10 a.m.

A 911 caller reported a disturbance on State Road just after 2 p.m. A similar call came in from Old Bedford Road at 7:29 p.m.

A caller from Tickle Road complained of an unwanted person at 3:55 p.m.

A caller reported a suspicious vehicle on American Legion Highway at 11:41 p.m.

Police pulled over eight vehicles and issued seven citations over the course of the day.

Friday, May 10

A caller from Sodom Road reported a suspicious person at 12:38 p.m.

Animal complaints came in from American Legion Highway at 3:35 p.m.

A noise complaint came in from State Road at 8:51 p.m.

Police pulled over one vehicle and issued one citation over the course of the day.

Saturday, May 11

A caller from Washington Street lodged animal complaints at 8:06 a.m.

A caller from Route 88 reported a suspicious vehicle at 10:19 a.m. A similar call came in from Adamsville Road at 12:22 p.m.

Police transferred a 911 brush fire call to the fire department at 1:01 p.m. It came in from River Road.

A caller from Old Bedford Road reported suspicious activity at 9:48 p.m. A similar call came in via 911 from Meadow Road at 10:40 p.m.

Police pulled over 22 vehicles and issued 10 citations over the course of the day.

Sunday, May 12

A caller from Reed Road asked police to keep the peace at 5:50 a.m.

Callers from State Road reported suspicious persons at 10:58 and 11:47 a.m.

Animal complaints came in from Highland Avenue at 2:38 p.m., and from John Reed Road at 4:36 p.m.

A Robert Street resident reported trespassing at 3:20 p.m.

Police pulled over nine vehicles and issued three citations over the course of the day.
