Tiverton police logs: Multiple drug arrests this week

Monday, May 6

An animal complaint came in from Mill Street at 10:21 a.m., and another from the Longplex complex at 4:17 p.m.

Kelly J. Viveiros, 54, of 1 Mill St., Apt. 1123, was charged with disorderly conduct after police were called to Mill Street at 12:02 p.m. for a report of an unwanted person.

Christopher Schlesinger, 68, of 70 3RD St., Westport, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, 10 grams or less, after he turned himself in at police headquarters just before 4 p.m.

Tuesday, May 7

A Middletown resident complained of noise on Randolph Street at 7:37 a.m.

A Randolph Avenue resident complained of harassment and threats at 1:13 p.m.

A Lake Road resident reported a scam at 3:45 p.m.

A 5:35 p.m. call regarding a suspicious person on Oceanview Avenue proved unfounded, police reported.

A caller asked police to check on the condition of a driver on Route 24 at 5:46 p.m.

Wednesday, May 8

A caller from Eagleville Road reported someone illegally dumping trash at 1:08 p.m.

A harassment/threats call came in from Windwood Drive at 2:44 p.m.

A Hayden Avenue caller reported a scam at 4:22 p.m. A similar call came in from Main Road just after 3:30 p.m.

A Sawdy Pond Avenue caller complained of soliciting at 5:47 p.m., but police could not locate the issue.

A Primrose Lane caller reported theft at 6:14 p.m.

A. caller reported a suspicious person on John Duggan Road at 9:35 p.m., but police said there was no problem.

Thursday, May 9

A noise complaint came in at 5:32 a.m. from Haskins Avenue.

An animal complaint came in from Thomas Street just before noon.

A caller from Fish Road reported the violation of a restraining order at 3:09 p.m.

Police were called to Furey Street by a resident with a neighbor dispute.

James M. Murray, 42, of 301 Bulgarmarsh Road, Apt. 18, was charged with driving under the influence, BAC unknown, and driving after the denial, suspension or revocation of his license, after police pulled him over on North Brayton Road at 5:27 p.m.

A caller from Arrowhead Drive complained of someone illegally dumping trash at 6 p.m.

A caller from Rock Street reported suspicious activity at 6:13 p.m.

Two people were charged with drug offenses after police were called to a donut shop on Stafford Road at 11:18 p.m. for a domestic dispute. Charged with possession of a controlled substance, 10 grams or less, were Caroline A. Satterthawite, 32, of 1106 Ferry St., Marshfield, Ma., and Adam G. Wrightington, 38, of 2542 South Main St., Fall River.

Friday, May 10

A caller from Lawton Avenue reported disorderly conduct at 2:03 a.m. Police investigated but made no arrests.

Ashley A. Sylvester, 40, of 12 Rose St., Falmouth, Ma., was charged with three counts of possession of a controlled substance, 10 grams or less, after police investigated a narcotics violation on Tiverton Casino Boulevard at 12:39 p.m.

A caller from Crandall Road reported fraud at 1:14 p.m.

Five callers complained of blasting in the area of Briarwood Avenue, Fish Road, Eagleville Road and Fish Road, from just before 2 p.m. through 2:30 p.m.

A caller from Main Road reported harassment and threats at 2:23 p.m.

A caller from North Brayton Road complained of dirt bike/ATV riders, but police deemed the 3:41 p.m. call unfounded.

A Russell Drive man reported identity theft at 5:24 p.m.

A noise complaint came in from Main Road at 9:44 p.m.

A caller from East Bourne Avenue reported suspicious activity at 9:48 p.m. A police search turned up nothing.

Saturday, May 11

A caller from Bay Street reported a scam just after 2:30 p.m.

Police were asked to keep the peace at a Riverview Avenue home at 2:42 p.m.

A Jennifer Lane resident reported a neighbor dispute at 3:03 p.m.

An animal complaint came in from Plantation Drive at 10:03 p.m.

A caller from Beth Road reported a landlord/tenant dispute at 10:37 p.m.

A caller reported an erratic driver on Highland Road at 11:15 p.m.

Sunday, May 12

An animal complaint came in from Durfee Road, at Alan Street, at 5:32 a.m.

Jonathan T. Watters, 42, of 54 Judson St., was charged with domestic simple assault and domestic disorderly conduct, after police were called to Main Road for a domestic disturbance just before 7 a.m.

Police were asked to keep the peace on Judson Street at 11:51 a.m.

A 911 caller reported a domestic incident on Paul James Drive at 3:16 p.m.

A 911 caller reported an erratic driver on Route 24 at 3:20 p.m. A search turned up nothing.

A caller from Mill Street reported a missing person at 3:36 p.m.; the subject was later returned home. A similar call came in from the same address at 8:43 p.m.

Devin Silva, 22, of 146 Lowell St., Apt. 3, Fall River, was charged with disorderly conduct after a 911 caller asked police the check on the condition of a driver on Route 24 at 9:08 p.m.
